How do we quiet our overactive minds and stay calm?
As stresses due to the pandemic continue to increase, my clients have been asking me what they can do to decrease their anxiety, stay present, and cope with the challenges which are very difficult to manage at the moment.
My advice is to start learning how to live and react from your spiritual self, rather than from your emotional space or mind’s perspective. This is because our consciousness is always calm, it is our mental, emotional and physical selves that are not still.
Our minds can be logical yet at other times they are too noisy with the opinions of others and our own judgment, causing us not to be able to make well-informed decisions for ourselves. The physical self reacts to external forces such as climate and political situations, therefore we try and do what is best with regards to what is going on in the world around us and lose track of what is actually right for our own personal wellbeing.
That is why I suggest, it is best to live in the spirit self which is always constant and pure. When we live in our spiritual self, we resonate with the universal frequency and maintain universal consciousness. When you are in tune with your energy field and let it guide you when making difficult decisions for your business, family and person, you will feel, trust and gain a sense of belief in your choices. Then there will be no doubt, uncertainty and confusion around how to handle things.
Now more than ever, I encourage you to reconnect to your heart space and energy body so that despite everything that is happening around us, you will know you are doing the kind and loving thing that will serve you best.
